Standards – We have proven high standards and dedication to quality service, including years of national accreditation. Our staff and leadership strive to continually improve service delivery, relying upon feedback from our clients, the Nebraska Child and Family Services (CFS) staff and the community we serve. Vision – Our experience as a direct service provider and with other providers enables the NFC to reduce and eliminate the gaps and breakdowns identified by current service providers. This will help achieve a care system where no child or family falls through the cracks. Familiarity – Our familiarity with families has enabled us to develop a full array of creative services outside the current delivery system. These services directly respond to families’ needs and improve outcomes. Voice – We have incorporated the family voice into our service development, and ensure that peer mentoring is provided to help families move through the child welfare system with greater confidence and satisfaction. Efficiency – We are a non-profit agency. The NFC was designed by service Community – In alignment with the mission, vision and values of the NFC, we know that the children we help are part of our community, not wards of the state. They are our neighbors, our friends and families. They are our responsibility. |
